💼 About the Role
As a Senior IT Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless integration and support of our payment platform within restaurant environments, while also handling broader IT technical tasks. This role is ideal for a technically versatile individual who thrives in a service-oriented environment and is adept at finding solutions independently. You will work closely with our Operational team, assisting them during onboarding phases, while also being the primary contact for internal IT topics and technical issues.
🔥 Key Responsibilities
- Handle technical onboarding tasks related to integrating our payment platform within restaurant environments and third-party systems
- Coordinate with technical stakeholders (internal and external) to configure networks, APIs, and devices for platform compatibility
- Manage internal and external IT infrastructures, including our MDM platform, network configurations, certificates renewals, and remote troubleshooting
- Provide support and perform log analysis for platform-related and IT-related incidents (Datadog, API logs, terminal / device logs)
- Maintain our POS labs, sandbox back-of-house environments, and hardware terminals
- Support and train the OPS team on IT and onboarding tooling and procedures
- Write internal and customer-facing documentation to ease onboarding and empower teams or merchants to self-troubleshoot
- Collaborate with engineering teams to help design and improve troubleshooting tools and automation systems (some merchant-facing)
- Participate in IT and infrastructure-related decision-making alongside product and engineering stakeholders
😊 About You
5+ years in a technical role, ideally in IT support, infrastructure, or systems administrationExperience managing SaaS environments and devices (e.g. MDM, SSO, Google Workspace, networking tools)Experience with log analysis (Datadog or equivalent) and diagnosing API or system issuesGood knowledge of REST APIs and how to troubleshoot them (Postman or equivalent)Understanding of POS systems is a big plus (e.g. Aloha, Simphony)Experience handling network configs, and hardware / software integrationsStrong problem-solving skillsExperience in training or supporting non-technical teamsAutonomous and solutions-oriented mindsetSpeaking French is a plus⛳️ Compensation, Perks & Benefits
