Location : Burlington, NC
Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Night Shift, 4x9.5-Hour (22 : 00 – 07 : 30), Monday–Thursday
Job Responsibilities :
Perform comprehensive MRI scans across various anatomical regions including head, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and musculoskeletal systems.Operate Siemens MRI equipment and utilize PACS for image storage and review.Work independently on night shift, providing imaging support for adult acute care, ICU, outpatient, and emergency / trauma departments.Apply isolation precautions and follow safety protocols during procedures.Prepare and administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs as required.Ensure accurate documentation in EPIC charting system.Utilize specialized imaging techniques such as Gradient Echo Imaging, Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP), Spin Echo, and both T1- and T2-weighted sequences.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory services as needed.Required Skills & Experience :
Minimum 1 year of MRI experience (first-time travelers accepted with required experience)Previous charge or lead tech experience requiredExperience in the following imaging areas :Head & Neck : Brain, cranial nerves, face / soft tissue neck, head MRA / MRV, orbits
Spine : Cervical, thoracic, lumbar, sacrum / coccyx, spinal trauma, thoracic MRAChest & Abdomen : Chest, abdomen, abdominal MRA, MRCP, pelvis (male / female)Musculoskeletal : Hip, shoulder, knee, foot, hand, sternum, upper / lower extremity long bonesProficient in special procedures including surface coils, multiplanar reconstruction (preferred), and contrast-enhanced studiesMust be familiar with adult acute care, ICU, outpatient, and ER / trauma workflowsAbility to work independently and manage a 1 : 1 patient ratioAbout HonorVet Technologies
