Senior Associate, Process Management- Operational Resilience

Capital One is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Senior Associate to join the Business Continuity Risk Management (BCRM) team within the Operational Risk Management second line of defense. BCRM is responsible for independent governance and oversight of Capital Ones business continuity and operational resilience practices enabling Capital One to respond to and recover from business disruptions.

The ideal candidate is experienced at coordinating processes and associates, and can effectively communicate to stakeholders and leaders while comfortably navigating through ambiguity and exercising exceptional critical thinking skills. This candidate will be responsible for supporting the Operational Resilience workstream, executing end-to-end mapping of Capital Ones Essential Business Services and underlying dependencies. This role offers the opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Document relationships between multiple processes using tools such as swim lane process maps
• Design and implement approach to mapping end-to-end customer-facing services, including the underlying processes, systems, third parties, and locations
• Facilitating and executing cross-functional process map design in collaboration with technology and business teams
• Support the design of severe but plausible scenario-based tests to demonstrate the ability of services to withstand disruption
• Assist in organizing workshops and planning sessions to maintain awareness and currency of operational resilience service documentation and governance
• Designing and implementing sustainable processes to keep service maps up-to-date at regular intervals and following business changes

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and / or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
