Apartment Make-Ready

Integra is seeking a Make Ready Technician to join our maintenance team. Reporting to the Lead Maintenance Technician, the Make Ready Technician will be responsible for preparing recently vacated apartments for market readiness, ensuring they are clean, safe, and ready for new tenants. Responsibilities : Unit Preparation : Receive "make ready" assignments and gather necessary tools, equipment, and supplies to prepare apartment units for rental. Maintenance Tasks : Conduct inspections and perform maintenance tasks such as caulking, shampooing carpets / vinyl, checking and repairing appliances, and evaluating air conditioning, heating, and water heater systems. Repairs and Replacements : Make minor repairs and replacements to lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, baseboards, trim, doors, and windows as needed. Painting and Patching : Repair holes in walls, perform painting duties, and touch up paint as needed to ensure a clean and fresh appearance. Locks and Security : Check and re-key all locks on doors and windows for security purposes. Woodwork Maintenance : Polish and varnish cabinets and other woodwork as needed to maintain their appearance and functionality. Service Calls : Respond to service calls to make less technical repairs or replacements as required, assisting the Lead Service Technician when needed. Groundskeeping : Perform landscape duties, pool maintenance, pressure washing, and general cleaning of common areas as needed. Inventory Management : Maintain inventory of supplies and materials needed for make ready tasks, ensuring adequate stock levels. Miscellaneous Tasks : Perform other miscellaneous tasks and assist maintenance staff as assigned by the Lead Maintenance Technician. Requirements : High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in maintenance, construction, or related field preferred. Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision. Basic knowledge of maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects. Flexibility to work a part-time schedule, including weekends and evenings as needed. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities. Must have own basic hand tools to perform duties.
