Position Description

The Software Engineer will review OEM software development, integration, and testing deliverables, ensuring compliance with relevant standards such as RTCA / DO-178C, MIL-STD-882E, and Data Item Descriptions. The role involves participating in customer meetings, understanding software development principles, and communicating compliance issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Review OEM software development, integration, and testing deliverables.
• Understand and apply RTCA / DO-178C standards and principles.
• Verify OEM deliverables for compliance with applicable standards.
• Participate in customer meetings and reviews.
• Understand software engineering principles, including source code, development life cycles, and data representations.
• Prepare memos communicating compliance issues and potential risks.
• Provide clear explanations and support decisions related to deliverables and compliance.
