Physician / Endocrinology / Connecticut / Permanent / Endocrinologist Opportunity in Southwestern Co

A large and growing health network of over 2600 Physicians with seven hospitals across southern New York and Connecticut is adding an Endocrinologist in our southwestern Connecticut location, just one hour from New York City. The practice offers a full range of Endocrinology and Diabetes care, including Transgender Medicine and Thyroid Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment

About the Opportunity:

• Join our collegial and growing Endocrine clinical team of four Physicians and two Advanced Practice Providers
• The position is mainly outpatient with some inpatient consults at the Hospital
• Flexible scheduling with 3-5 working days per week
• Administrative time is built into the schedule and proportional to hours worked
• Light call volume. On call one week out of every 7 weeks
• In-office ultrasound for thyroid biopsies, though this is not a requirement for physicians
• The system has dedicated Endocrinology surgery and radiology services, including Radioactive iodine therapy
• There is optional involvement with our medical teaching program, including the opportunity for appointment
• A 366-bed hospital with a Level II Trauma Center, with approximately 50,000 annual ED visits

Compensation/Benefits:

• This is an employed position with a robust compensation package including base salary plus incentive pay. Other benefits include generous PTO, CME time off and allowance, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance
