Inventory Clerk - 3rd Shift

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring materials, ingredients, and finished goods are properly accounted for during overnight operations. This role plays a key part in supporting production flow, minimizing downtime, and maintaining food safety and quality standards in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform nightly cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and document variances in the inventory management system.
• Monitor movement of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods between production, warehouse, and staging areas.
• Record all inventory transactions accurately in ERP / WMS systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Conduct regular audits of storage locations to ensure compliance with FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and food safety standards.
• Communicate inventory shortages, overages, or quality issues to supervisors and production teams promptly.
• Ensure materials are labeled, stored, and handled in accordance with food safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Collaborate with forklift drivers and production operators to maintain efficient product flow.
• Assist with end-of-month or quarterly physical inventories.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company policies.

Work Environment

The work environment involves regular exposure to production noise and warehouse activity. Employees must adhere to GMP and SOP warehouse standards and wear safety work shoes with reinforced toes and slip resistance. Durable work pants and shirts that cover the shoulders are required. Long hair must be tied or banded, and no jewelry is permitted.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eastvale, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00 / hr.
