Location : Milpitas, CA (Onsite)

Duration : 6 Months

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 AM 5 PM PST (Some OT may be required)

Job Description :

We are seeking a motivated Buyer / Planner to join our manufacturing team in Milpitas, CA. The ideal candidate will plan, schedule, and monitor the movement of materials through the production cycle to ensure timely availability for manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Plan and schedule material purchases based on engineering and production requirements.

Maintain inventory levels through just-in-time purchasing strategies.

Monitor production orders to ensure alignment with build plans, schedules, and cost objectives.

Resolve material discrepancies and ensure compliance with material standards.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to minimize variances and support production efficiency.

Track and report material and production performance metrics.

Qualifications :

3+ years of experience in a manufacturing planning or buying role.

Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory management principles.

Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work onsite and collaborate effectively with production and engineering teams.
