Refund Specialist III

A company is looking for a Refund Specialist III - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Validates and tracks credits due to insurance companies, patients, and other payers

Analyzes account activity to determine refund eligibility and resolves overpayments

Collaborates with internal teams to address complex refund-related issues and submits overpayment requests

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

5+ years of medical billing experience required

Strong experience with payor contracts and 4+ years of posting experience

Knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy required

Strong working knowledge of Excel
