Purpose

The Program Manager will manage, facilitate, and design CEESA's non-traditional, publicly facing research deliverables that maximize stakeholder understanding, engagement, and adoption of research findings. The role requires judgment and expertise to determine the most effective ways to educate stakeholders and disseminate CEESA's work including white paper series, policy briefs, workshops, stakeholder forums, web resources, and other applied outputs so that research insights are accessible, relevant, and put into practice. Central responsibilities include administering the Industrial Affiliates Program (IAP), aligning outputs with stakeholder needs, and building platforms for global engagement, while shaping engagement strategies that extend CEESA's impact beyond traditional academic audiences.

  • Plan, host, and execute workshops, annual meetings, and other dissemination events that connect CEESA research to stakeholders. Design events that emphasize learning and application, and ensure outputs (e.g., briefing notes, summaries, presentations) are captured and shared widely.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement and knowledge dissemination strategy, including development of educational resources, white paper series, newsletters, and web content. Focus on making CEESA outputs accessible, understandable, and actionable for policymakers, industry, NGOs, and international partners.
  • Identify, facilitate, and prepare opportunities for CEESA researchers to represent the center's work at national and international forums, policy discussions, and practitioner networks. Support faculty and staff by coordinating logistics, developing materials, and ensuring engagements are impactful and aligned with CEESA's broader goals.
  • Supervise CEESA staff when tasks are associated with Events, Marketing, Public Communications, and Digital Solutions.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging with policymakers, industry leaders, and the scientific community
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a collaborative research environment and engage with cross-disciplinary teams
  • Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate

  • Familiarity with the latest advancements in energy and environmental knowledge dissemination approaches
