Kennel & Property Management Technician - Ennis, TX

Canine Country Club and Wellness Center is looking for a rockstar kennel and property management technician for our Ranch Retreat location outside Ennis, Texas! We have a boarding, grooming, and wellness center located in Dallas, Texas, but our Ranch Retreat is located outside of Ennis, Texas.

Schedule for this position : 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week. Day shift with holidays and weekends on occasion.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides daily care, feeding, grooming, exercise, administering medication, and shuttling of pets.
• Take care of our ranch property with projects such as painting, maintenance, ranch work, and other special projects.
• Interact with clients in-person, over the phone, and through social media.
• Pay close attention to details, understand and follow proper feeding, medication, sanitation procedures, monitor boarding guests, and property care.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Fast-paced, high-energy environment that requires an individual to be comfortable on their feet for most of the day, and should be comfortable as a reliable, independent worker.
• High school or equivalent (Required)
• A clean driving record, if 21 and older (Required)
• Able to lift patients and carry equipment up to 50 pounds; ability to lift guests or carry equipment over 50 pounds with assistance
• Endure sitting, standing and walking on hard floor surfaces for extended periods
• Take safety precautions for exposure to toxins, drugs, anesthesia and radiation
