Department Summary : Vanderbilt Health's high-risk obstetrics team, known as maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) specialists, provides the region's most advanced care for our patients. Our care involves two specialized teams, one dedicated to patients and the other to ensure the best possible outcome and experience. From the beginning, our nationally ranked teams work closely with patient's regular obstetrician, carefully coordinating care to reduce delivery complications and enhance communication. The Neurology specialists at Monroe Carell work with your family to diagnose and treat disorders of the brain, spinal cord, muscles and nerves. Patients and their family have access to our experts in pediatric neurological care, but also to leading-edge research that only one of the top pediatric hospitals in the nation can provide. Monroe Carell is a national leader in genetic care and research. Our place at the forefront of discovery allows us to quickly bring research results to patient care. We diagnose, counsel and treat patients with a wide range of genetic disorders, birth defects and developmental concerns.
Key Responsibilities : Participates in projects and / or on-going work activities (timelines, work plans, deliverables) aligned with area initiatives. Supervises day to day performance of staff as assigned through ongoing assessment and coaching to achieve goals. Ensures effective operation of an area through development and supervision of processes. Assists in preparation of the annual operating and capital budgets.
