JOB DESCRIPTION

Volt has an immediate need for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to oversee the development and implementation of manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling used to produce Brazed Aluminum Heat Exchanges, Vaporizers, Skids, and other planned products.

This position will be working onsite with our client located in Tulsa, OK in a direct hire opportunity .

  • As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will;
  • Lead a cohesive team of Manufacturing Engineers.
  • Provide leadership to the Facilities and Maintenance Department.
  • Provide project management leadership for several large expansion and new product projects.
  • Develop processes and requirements to implement new products and lead the team to execute.
  • Responsible for providing design for manufacturing capability.
  • Participate in identifying critical characteristics for quality control plans and inspection plans.
  • Deliverable for this position is the handover of day-to-day production to capable and stable manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling CI, 5S, Six Sigma, SOP, machine up-time, technical support, etc.

This is a full-time, DIRECT HIRE opportunity.

Qualification / Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • 10 + years of Manager experience in a manufacturing environment and a successful track record of organizing and growing engineering teams.
  • Experience introducing new products and new processes into a production environment.
  • Experience developing maintenance strategies for PMs, work order completion, spare part inventory, etc.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • SolidWorks and 2D layout experience or similar software (e.g. AutoCAD).
  • Training, exposure and experience with CI, Six Sigma, 5S and Lean.
  • Experience with start-ups, expansions, rapid process / efficiency improvements, new product introductions, etc.

Salary : $120-140K annually *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
