Position Summary :
The Quality Control Manager is responsible for overseeing regulatory compliance, engineering processes, quality control activities such as packaging, returns and repairs. Safety within the organization is paramount and this role ensures that the company adheres to federal and state Quality Control protocols and standards including OSHA, CSPC, EPA, and NYS DEC requirements. The manager develops and implements OHS policies, conducts regulatory training, and supervises a team of sixteen hourly employees which includes payroll, vacation, performance evaluations, and employee relations.
Quality Control Manager :
- Lead, manage, and develop the quality control and inspection team, including training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and daily oversight of inspection activities.
- Collaborate with Design, Product Development and Vendor Compliance Manager to develop, implement and maintain product quality standards and specifications.
- Oversee product quality inspections and ensure timely execution and resolution of quality issues, working closely with Vendor Compliance Manager, Product Development and Design.
- Standardize and maintain detailed documentation of quality inspection records, results and corrective actions - at the item, vendor, and shipment level.
- Monitor quality data to identify trends and prioritize improvements.
- Develop performance dashboards and KPIs to track product quality and vendor performance. Provide regular reports and recommendations.

Supervisory Responsibilities :
This position supervises the Quality Control Supervisor and Inspectors, including interviewing and making hiring recommendations, providing job instruction and training, assigning and scheduling work, and conducting performance appraisals. Team building amongst your team is a must!
Qualifications
Education and Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Quality Control, or related field requiredThree to five years of relevant quality assurance experienceThree to five years of supervisory experienceDriver's License requiredOne to three years in an engineering environment, including technical support and repairs; and report analysisCertified Quality Auditor (CQA), Six Sigma Certification, or equivalent preferredExpertise in Microsoft Word and Excel (Office 365)Special Requirements :
Regular travel between company operations in Fulton NY and corporate office locations.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
