A dynamic and growing organization is seeking an Interim Accounting Manager to provide leadership and stability during a critical transitional period. This is a hands-on opportunity to make an immediate impact while guiding day-to-day accounting operations.
About the Role
As the Interim Accounting Manager, you'll oversee core financial functions, supervise accounting staff, and ensure accurate and timely reporting. You'll also support audit readiness, manage lease accounting, and assist with tax and insurance documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead full-cycle accounting operations and month-end close processes.
Supervise accounting team and uphold internal controls.
Prepare for audits and support year-end financial activities.
Manage lease agreements and ensure proper accounting treatment.
Assist with tax filings, sales reporting, and insurance documentation.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or in a similar interim leadership role.
Familiarity with accounting systems such as Great Plains, Microsoft Dynamics, or Sage Intacct.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
