General Manager — Salem's Fresh Eats

Job Summary :

At Salem's Fresh Eats, we serve more than just fresh food—we serve fresh energy, flavor, and hospitality in everything we do. As General Manager, you'll take the lead in running one of our restaurants like it's your own business. From building a high-performing team to creating unforgettable guest experiences, you're the driving force behind our success.

Key Responsibilities :

Leadership & Team Culture :

  • Recruit, hire, and inspire a diverse, motivated team of shift leaders, cooks, kitchen crew, and front-of-house stars.
  • Cultivate a positive, inclusive atmosphere built on teamwork, respect, and purpose.
  • Lead by example—demonstrate exceptional hospitality and professionalism every shift.
  • Celebrate wins! Recognize and reward great performance to build morale and retention.

People Development :

  • Build personalized training plans that help employees grow into their potential.
  • Deliver continuous coaching, mentorship, and feedback to elevate team performance.

    • Guest Experience & Hospitality :

    • Operations Mastery :

  • Manage day-to-day operations with precision, from prep to presentation.
  • Uphold the highest standards for cleanliness, food safety, and quality.
  • Maintain inventory levels and manage ordering to avoid waste and ensure freshness.
  • Stay compliant with health regulations and company policies.

    • Sales & Marketing Leadership :

  • Plan and execute creative local marketing and community outreach campaigns.
  • Promote brand awareness through social media, in-store events, and strategic partnerships.
  • Analyze performance data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Champion the culture of hospitality in every promotion and guest interaction.

    • Financial Responsibility :

  • Achieve and exceed sales goals while controlling labor and operating costs.
  • Manage budgets, payroll, and other assets with strong attention to detail.
  • Drive profitability without compromising quality or team wellbeing.

    • Inventory & Supply Chain Management :

  • Monitor stock and conduct regular inventory audits.
  • Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery of quality, responsibly-sourced ingredients.
  • Negotiate pricing and manage supplier relationships to maintain cost efficiency.
