CommandLink is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the modernization of our billing, license management, and financial systems the core engines powering our rapidly growing global SaaS platform.

This is not a maintenance role. You'll be reimagining how financial transactions, licensing, and accounting flow through a multi-continent enterprise transforming a legacy PHP monolith into a modern, service-oriented architecture designed for scalability, accuracy, and resilience. Your work will directly influence how value moves across borders, ensuring every invoice, payment, and reconciliation is reliable, auditable, and secure.

Key responsibilities include :

• Help design the next-gen financial platform for billing, licensing, and accounting.
• Guide our move from a legacy PHP setup to a modern, service-based architecture.
• Build systems that handle invoices, payments, and revenue recognition reliably and globally.
• Integrate with platforms like NetSuite, Stripe, QuickBooks, Zuora, and Chargebee.
• Ensure data accuracy, reconciliation, and auditability across all transactions.
• Set standards for performance, observability, and security across our financial stack.
• Work closely with Finance, Product, and Operations to turn business needs into scalable tech.
