Software Analyst

Duties :

Build Reporting, Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting and Consolidation applications using Oracle Hyperion. Create Master Data applications using Oracle DRM to ensure a consistent approach to enterprise architecture standards. Interface with business stakeholders and technical teams to create detailed Requirements and Technical design Documents. Administer Oracle EPM applications and maintain metadata, resolve system issues, user security and access. Create consolidation applications for Finance teams to close books during close process and build reports for analysis.

Provide input to senior management for strategy, architecture and development of complex systems architecture. Create Infrastructure Plans for Oracle EPM using Windows and Linux Operating systems on Virtual and Physical Servers. Work with Hyperion Planning, Essbase, HFM, DRM, FDQM, Reporting, Smartview, ODI, SQL, Shell Scripts, and MaxL. Perform installation, configuration & troubleshooting of Hyperion environments with High availability and Load Balancing.

Set up systems for Disaster scenarios, including backups and Disaster recovery practices. Evaluate new software releases and upgrade current applications to new release to achieve better Performance. Ensure proper system protocols & procedures are implemented for IT Change Control to meet Internal and SOX Audits.

Requirements :

Bachelor's in Engineering (Any Field) or Computer Science + 2 years of relevant progressive experience in job offered or related. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience accepted.
