Job descriptionLicensed to practice law in Ohio. At least 7+ years of experience in commercial litigation. Extensive trial and courtroom experience in federal and state courts. Exceptional negotiation and advocacy skills. Strong business acumen and client relationship management skills. Proven ability to attract and retain clients. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in Ohio. Strategic approach to litigation and dispute resolution. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Strong networking and business development skills. Retirement savings plan.
A law firm seeks an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney in Cleveland, OH. The successful candidate will lead and expand the commercial litigation practice, manage high-stakes cases, and provide strategic guidance to clients.
Duties
- Lead and manage commercial litigation cases from inception through trial or resolution.
- Provide expert legal advice in complex commercial disputes, including breach of contract and fraud claims.
- Handle all aspects of litigation, including depositions, mediations, and trial proceedings.
- Develop and maintain client relationships by offering business-minded legal solutions.
- Collaborate with other practice groups to provide integrated services for multifaceted legal issues.
- Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and legal staff.
- Drive business development efforts and participate in firm marketing initiatives.
- Contribute to the firm's leadership and strategy through management decisions and practice development.
