Job summary-

Review and analyze requirement reports to efficiently generate daily purchase orders. Collaborate with the procurement team to enhance process efficiency, analyze SKU and vendor performance, and maintain accurate purchase order, SKU, and vendor data for selected commodities. Schedule : Mon-Fri, 7-4 or 8-5

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Efficiently generate purchase orders, review for discrepancies, and obtain PO confirmations. Continuously identify, capture, and track cost savings opportunities.
• Understand and adhere to purchasing requirements, including methods, lead times, freight, and other relevant factors.
• Review and understand customer requirements, address exceptions, and expedite orders as necessary.
• Manage data accurately, including item changes, description updates, unit of measure updates, pricing updates, and catalog maintenance.
• Understand annual volume goals, assess customer forecasts, and monitor monthly volumes.
• Manage vendor performance by meeting with suppliers, reviewing non-moving, obsolete, discontinued, or dead inventory.
• Create returns, address pricing concerns, and monitor fill rates and DTC.
• Support company and departmental initiatives by actively participating in special assignments and projects as assigned.
