ProSidian Consulting is looking for a Budget/Financial Analyst in CONUS/OCONUS - Washington, DC to support an engagement for an independent agency of the United States Federal Govt. that is concerned with the United States' policies regarding energy and safety in handling nuclear material. The agency has a mission to lead national efforts to modernize the electric grid; enhance security and reliability of the energy infrastructure; and facilitate recovery from disruptions to energy supply.
The ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to provide financial, technical, analytical, modeling, project management, and communications support to meet on-going requirements within the agency.
Budget/Financial Analyst Candidates shall work to support requirements for Program Support and primary role is to provide support to a web based comprehensive strategic planning system that provides the user with the ability to monitor budgeting data and contract details essential to the funding processes, provide financial expertise and programmatic support for the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and provide financial and analytical expertise in the areas of budget formulation and execution.
The Budget/Financial Analyst shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/Power point) and related tools and technology required for the position. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.
A bachelor's degree is required with at least three years work experience in accounting, budget execution, financial system requirements and analysis, financial planning and reporting, auditing, and internal financial controls. Experience with the Federal Managers' Financial Integrity Act (FMFIA) is preferred.
TRAVEL: Travel as coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, is allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations. LOCATION: Work shall be conducted at the CONUS/OCONUS - Washington, DC
