Let your career find its purpose here at Carondelet.\n\nRN Emergency Room Full Time Nights Position Summary\n\nProvides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.\n\nResponsibilities\nImplements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.\nServes as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.\nNotes and carries out physician and nursing orders.\nAssesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.\nAssessment - An RN uses a systematic, dynamic way to collect and analyze data about a patient, the first step in delivering nursing care. Assessment includes not only physiological data, but also psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and life-style factors as well.\n\n-Initial assessment\n-Re-assessment\n-Focused assessment based on patient condition, setting and population\n\nProblem Identification - Problem identification is the nurse's clinical judgment about the patient's response to actual or potential health conditions or needs.\nPlanning and Outcomes – Based on the assessment and problem identification, the nurse sets measurable and achievable short- and long-range goals in collaboration with the patient and family. Assessment data, problem identification, and goals are written in the patient's care plan so that nurses as well as other health professionals caring for the patient have access to it.\n\n-Establishing daily goals with the patient and family\n-Formulating a plan of care\n-Transition or Discharge planning\n\nImplementation – Nursing care is implemented according to the care plan, so continuity of care for the patient during hospitalization and in preparation for discharge is assured. Care is documented in the patient's record.\n\n-Ensures patient safety\n-Medication administration\n-Provision of ordered treatments\n-Patient / Family education\n-Provision of nursing care\n-Documentation in healthcare record\n\nEvaluation – Both the patient's status and the effectiveness of the nursing care must be continuously evaluated, and the care plan modified as needed.\nCare Coordination – Actions initiated by nurses with patients, families, and / or members of their healthcare team to manage and correct the sequence, timing, and / or effectiveness of patient care from admission to discharge.\n\n-Delegation\n-Supervision\n-Prioritization\n\n \n\nTHE RN EMERGENCY ROOM FULL TIME NIGHTS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE / CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.\n\nLICENSURE / CERTIFICATION / REGISTRATION\nLicense Required : Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.\nCertification Required : Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association\nCertification Preferred : Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or others as required by individual department.\n\nEDUCATION\nRequired : Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing\nPreferred : Bachelors of Science in Nursing\n\nWORK EXPERIENCE\nRequired : None\n\n#LI-SB3\n\nTenet AZ Job ID #2503029652.
