This is a hands-on, builder role—ideal for someone who wants to lead but isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and execute.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the overall marketing strategy for both PLG and sales-led growth.
  • Build the marketing function from the ground up, including demand generation, developer marketing, and partner marketing.
  • Drive acquisition and engagement for our self-serve motion.
  • Craft clear, compelling developer communications, content, and campaigns that resonate with technical users.
  • Optimize funnel performance through signal stacking and experimentation.
  • Partner closely with Sales to fuel pipeline generation.
  • Build scalable playbooks for ABM, events, and campaigns targeting enterprise buyers.
  • Position RunPod as the go-to platform for developers and companies building with AI.
  • Build and strengthen partnerships with ecosystems, communities, and key platforms.
  • Amplify RunPod's presence through thought leadership, events, and strategic collaborations.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in marketing with at least 2+ years in a leadership role at a high-growth tech startup.
  • PLG expertise : Proven track record of growing a self-serve product, ideally in developer tools, infrastructure, or SaaS.
  • Sales enablement : Experience supporting a sales-led motion in parallel with PLG.
  • Developer-first mindset : Ability to communicate authentically with developers through content, community, and partnerships.
  • Go-to-market creativity : Comfort with testing new channels, storytelling approaches, and growth strategies.
  • Builder mentality : Excited to own strategy and execution in a lean, fast-moving startup.
  • Successful completion of a background check.

    • What You'll Receive

  • The competitive base pay for this position ranges from $180,000 - $280,000. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Runpod and will be narrowed during the interview process based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
