Description
This position provides radiographic examinations on all age groups served by the entity. The position provides CT examinations based on the scope of the Urgent Care practice. Ensures quality radiographs and CT exams to include both PO and IV, when applicable, follows radiation protection standards and participates in the departmental continuous quality improvement process. Ensures customer satisfaction and appropriateness of care for all assigned patients. This position must also support all Urgent Care workflow such as quick registration, placing clinical orders and the facilitating of patient movement into and out of rooms. Estimated pay range for this position is $28.98 - $37.67 / hour depending on experience.
Qualifications
Degrees:
- High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.
Licenses & Certifications:
- CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Certification.
- Certified Radiologic Technologist.
- ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography.
Additional Qualifications:
- Associates degree preferred.
- Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Radiologic Technology.
- Must be competent to perform both Radiologic and CT studies.
- Must maintain licensure/certifications throughout their employment.
- Six months experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Recent graduates may be considered.
- CT experience is preferred.
