Job Description

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for :

• Developing Quantum with ExtJS, Elasticsearch, and advanced optimization algorithms - our most advanced Analytics product ever for the world's most sophisticated investment professionals
• Creating an automation technology smart enough to populate dozens of the largest institutional databases with a single click
• Incubating a proprietary model and technology to predict the direction of global asset flows
• Committing important features to our SaaS platform that a client will use tonight
• Pairing on well-written production code with an experienced developer
• Writing units test to ensure that your code works like you expected
• Upgrading our 3rd party libraries and tools to the latest and greatest versions (we don't like to get behind on any of our technologies!)
• Focusing the majority of your time on new products and features instead of quality fire drills. Bugs happen, and we all happily fix them quickly but our engineering practices ensure that fire drills are the exception and not the rule
• Teaming up with smart product owners to set legit delivery schedules as opposed to working toward arbitrary deadlines that someone else made up
• Rolling a new session and viewstate provider backed by Redis as part of dedicated experimentation time that we encourage all associates to enjoy
• Delighting our Client Service team with a new self-service catalog administration app that makes it easy to give clients access to our products
• Seeing your suggestions actually implemented following regular retrospectives
