Overview
The Accounting Specialist is responsible for Product Portfolio accounting, Fixed Assets, Prepaid Expenses and Deferred Fees / Income. Responsible to uphold and abide by Frontwave Credit Union’s core Values and service expectations.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Includes the following non-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned. All duties are to be performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Credit Union policies and procedures.
Portfolio Accounting
- Performing Journal Entries and Reconciliations for the products portfolio
- Responsible for the accounting related to products portfolio
- Monitor the revenue and expense accounts
- Communications within the Credit Union to ensure timely posting of payments
Fixed Assets, Prepaid Expenses and Deferred Fees / Income
Qualifications
Education and / or Experience :
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred
One to Three years prior experience in Accounting a must
Experience in the Financial Services Industry a plus
Salary Range : $23.84 / hr - $35.76 / hr
