Opening for Part-Time Palliative Care Physician in Albany, NYPart TimePermanent Position Position Overview : - Physicians visit patients in their homes, nursing homes, and hospitals as necessary.- Routine participation in the education of medical students, NP and PA students, as well as residents and Geriatrics Fellows.- On-call responsibilities are shared with a group of 5 hospice physicians.- The Community Hospice directs a well-established Palliative Care Partners service line across inpatient, outpatient, and home-based settings within the affiliated health system.Recruitment Package : - Starting bonus and competitive salary with incentives.- Compensation for 0.5 FTE is between $129,000 and $132,000.- The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, quality incentives, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable.- Excellent benefits, including health, vision, and dental insurance.- Paid malpractice insurance, including post-SPHP employment tail coverage.- CME time and expense allowance.- Paid time away from the practice.- Two-part retirement savings program with employer matching.- Relocation assistance available.
