The supervisor will assist with oversight of general day-to-day and staff operations of the team. This position will oversee the System Navigators, Data Coordinator, and Data Specialist, to ensure data integrity, assist in training, and ensure entry of client level data from outreach services is being accurately recorded into the HMIS system. The Supervisor will be a liaison with the HMIS team members.

Essential job functions include : supervising System Navigators, MDCRT Coordinators, and the Data Specialists; running reports regularly to provide data to inform their supervision of staff; monitoring departmental progress toward contract goals; analyzing service data to identify trends; developing monthly reports detailing the work of the department; providing training to MDCRT staff on the use of HMIS and other digital tools; identifying and escalating any data integrity or data collection challenges; maintaining professional relationships with offices of local government; representing LAHSA at community meetings; and performing other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities include : advanced level experience with MS Office Suite, Looker, or other database platforms; strong analytical ability; strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with a wide range of constituents; work independently, be proactive, and exercise good judgment; flexibility to work with individuals with varying work styles; excellent time management and organization skills; service-minded and open to new ideas and approaches; and attention to detail.
Training and experience include : a BA / BS degree from an accredited college or university is strongly preferred; minimum two (2) years' experience working in social services, especially with the homeless population; and a valid California Class C driver's license is required at the time of hire. Employees must have a good driving record for a minimum of three (3) years.
