Job Description :
Configure, operate, and maintain video systems for production, post-production, and live broadcast environments.
Manage video encoding, transcoding, and streaming workflows.
Support live events and remote productions by ensuring optimal video and audio quality.
Troubleshoot video signal paths, routing, and transmission issues.
Collaborate with production, IT, and broadcast teams to ensure smooth video operations.
Maintain video servers, routers, switchers, and related AV hardware.
Research and recommend new video technologies and workflow improvements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science Engineering or a related field
3 years of experience in live video technology with a focus on D2C or OTT services
Proven track record of managing complex video workflows from acquisition to delivery
In-depth knowledge of video codecs AVC HEVC contribution protocols SDI
SMPTE 2110 RTMP RTP ZIXI RIST SRT delivery protocols HLS DASH CMAF video containers TS MP4 and cloud services AWS OCI GCP etc.
Experience with server side ad insertion SSAI video encryption methods Widevine PlayReady FairPlay and CPIX
Strong data analytics skills to analyze logs and create observability dashboards in platforms such as new relic Cloud ELK
Can read Python Rust and do basic scripting
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced dynamic environment
Familiarity with Atlaasian Jira and Confluence products
Additional Qualifications
Familiarity working with GitHub projects is a plus
Understanding of AWS Media service offerings
Strong technical acumen fundamental knowledge of distributed deployment technologies Docker Terraform Kubernetes
Familiarity with color spaces HDRSDR captioning standards 608708VTTTTML
SCTE35 signaling for dynamic ad insertion DAI and SCTE224 SCTE250 signaling for ESAM POIS
