JOB SUMMARY : The

is responsible for modification, and operation of industrial manual machinery of large pump parts to precise specifications. The Manual Machinist develops and maintains these parts utilizing knowledge of metal properties, layout, and machining procedures. The successful candidate will be experienced with machining on equipment such as : Vertical Turret Lathes and / or Manual Lathes or Horizontal Boring Mills.

Journeyman status as a machinist or a machinist mate in the military, or equivalent work experience is desired. Candidates experienced in the pump or, rotating equipment industry will be strongly considered.
