- Candidates should demonstrate (1) a mastery of their specific discipline; (2) competency teaching foundational skills including but not limited to : Beginning Drawing, 2D-Design, 3-Design and / or Computer Art;
- 3) a deep commitment to the college mission of fostering student success, achievement and persistence; (4) technology competencies as well as teaching / counseling skills and strategies that facilitate 21st century literacies;
5) the use of resources that prepare students for productive lives; (6) experience using various educational technological mediums.
Minimum Education :
Master's degree in Art or a Master's degree with 18 graduate credit hours in the field. PHD preferred.
Minimum Experience / Training :
- The successful candidate must have a high level of computer literacy and a commitment to teaching.
- Broward College places special importance on helping under - prepared students achieve academic success.
- All schedules require office hours and some may require evening and / or weekend hours.
