The Business Development Executive - Facility Services is responsible for driving new facilities business by prospecting and establishing innovative FS programs covering janitorial, sanitary, cleaning, safety, and breakroom supplies. You will target large local, regional, and national businesses across various sectors including commercial, healthcare, higher education, government, long-term care, and manufacturing.

What you will do :

  • Engage with external customers from initial outreach through to negotiations and implementation.
  • Clearly communicate opportunity parameters and needs to leadership for approvals and support teams to create winning proposals.
  • Prepare engaging customer presentations using PowerPoint or similar tools.
  • Negotiate contract terms and manage the legal approval process both internally and with clients.
  • Maintain a strategic account opportunity list for your region and manage your sales pipeline using Salesforce.com.
  • Collaborate with departments to respond to Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Quotation (RFQ), and other proposal requests.
  • Work with manufacturers to generate leads and negotiate pricing for significant program opportunities.

What you bring :

  • Ability to adapt go-to-market strategies to meet customer needs and industry trends.
  • Strong time management, organizational, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and sales methodologies as needed.
  • Capability to identify and qualify prospective clients effectively.
  • What's required - Basic Qualifications :

  • 3+ years of successful outside B2B sales experience.
  • Direct experience in selling janitorial / sanitation / cleaning supplies, breakroom, safety, and related product categories.
  • Experience with enterprise-sized accounts.
  • Demonstrated analytical, negotiating, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong networking abilities on social media and within key organizational groups.
  • What's preferred :

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with CRM tools, preferably Salesforce.com.

  • The salary range represents expected compensation at the time of posting. The specific base pay may vary based on experience, skill set, education, geography, and business considerations. This role may also be eligible for bonuses or other forms of variable compensation.
