Intensive Care Nurse

Title : RN - ICU\n\nLocation : New York, NY 10019\n\nContract Duration : 13 weeks\n\nSchedule : 7 AM-7 : 30 PM / 7 PM-7 : 30 AM\n\nWeekly Pay : Local $2088 Travel : $2400\n\nHours : 40 hours / week\n\nOverview\n\nWe are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced critical care environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical excellence, professional integrity, and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.\n\nResponsibilities\n

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care using the nursing process and professional practice standards.\n
• Assess and evaluate patients' needs, applying critical thinking in care management.\n
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.\n
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, health promotion, and disease prevention.\n
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in compliance with regulatory and institutional standards.\n
• Provide patient-focused, cost-effective care while maintaining quality and safety standards.\n
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and promote a culture of continuous learning.\n
• Perform charge nurse duties and support team operations as assigned.\n\nQualifications\n
• Active New York State RN License (required)\n
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)\n
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree considered with relevant experience or BSN enrollment\n
• Minimum 2 years of ICU, critical care, or telemetry experience\n
• EPIC experience highly preferred\n
