Anser Advisory is inviting qualified candidates to apply for an opening for the position of Schedule Manager to join our Program Controls team for a program and project-level scheduling assignment of a large-scale aviation construction program.

Ideal candidates will have construction project experience and are excited about a career in aviation. The successful candidate will hold a BS / BA Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or another construction related subject.

A minimum of 10 years program and project controls experience related to scheduling of construction projects is required along with a work history that represents increased levels of responsibility on a progressive basis.

This position will work as integrated staff with the Department of Planning and Development at SMF. The Department of Planning and Development oversees all Project Management functions, and works with design teams, contractors, and airport users to deliver maintenance projects and new development projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintains the Master Program Schedule.
  • Develops program and project-level schedules and presents the results of the schedule analyses to all levels of program stakeholders.
  • Analyzes schedule deliverables developed by contractors and consultants.
  • Performs program and project-level schedule analyses and translates resulting findings into recommendations for decision makers.
  • Performs schedule impact analysis and what-if’ scenario of alternative options.
  • Prepares and analyzes cost and resource-loaded CPM schedules.
  • Prepares cash-flow, earned value, and risk analyses utilizing scheduling data / tools.
  • Identifies any schedule related risks and avoidance / mitigation options.
  • Prepares or performs quality control reviews of all schedule related reporting.
  • Supervises and manages other scheduling staff.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have a thorough understanding of construction means and methods.
  • Must be a self-starter that is reliable, responsive to client needs, professional, and have the ability to maintain long-term relationships with clients and other construction related and business professionals and handle confidential information with discretion and trustworthiness.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and superior active listening skills.
  • Must be learning oriented and adaptable.
  • Creative and advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to transfer prior experience to new projects.
  • Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling and specialized skills in proficiency with project controls software.
  • Ability to develop Enterprise Project Structure (EPS), Organizational Breakdown Structure (OBS), Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for construction programs.

$150,000 - $175,000 a yearPay may be more or less depending on experience, skills, or education.We hire great people from a wide variety of backgrounds.
