A Day in the Life as a Marketing Assistant :

The Marketing Assistant supports the successful execution of the Credit Union's marketing strategy by assisting with the implementation of marketing initiatives and campaigns. This role contributes to the development and management of content across social media platforms, including the Credit Union's website, and other digital communication channels. Additionally, the Marketing Assistant provides support for community outreach and business development efforts, helping to enhance the Credit Union's visibility, engagement, and overall brand presence within the community.

What you will do :

Marketing Research and Outreach : Assist with research on competitor offerings and rates. Participate in community engagement events including contests, marketing events, webinars / seminars, and youth outreach programs.

Content Creation : Contribute written and digital marketing content used for marketing the Credit Union. Capture videos and photos at marketing events to promote brand awareness.

Administrative Support : Monitor marketing supplies, provide support to the marketing team, organize and manage marketing data, assist with event planning, and coordinate marketing and business development efforts.

What we are looking for :

A high school education or equivalent.

One year to three years of similar or related experience preferred. Related experience can include customer service, retail, sales, marketing, advertising, or public relations.

Financial institution background preferred.

Driving ability with a valid driver's license and motor vehicle driving record required.

Schedule :

Monday-Friday : 8 AM- 5 PM. This role requires occasional evening availability along with periodic weekend availability to represent the Credit Union at community events and other promotional opportunities. Flexible scheduling is offered, and any hours worked beyond the standard schedule are eligible for overtime.

Salary Range :

$21.10-$23.44 per hour
