CAD Technician - Public Works

CAD Technician Public Works Tyler, TX

Halff Associates, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Computer Aided Design (CAD) Technician in our Tyler, TX office to perform drafting, plan preparation and to work with design professionals with our Land Development / Public Works team.

Responsibilities :

• Review project design documents prepared by engineering specialists and ensure redlines are incorporated into document drafts
• Use CAD software to prepare and / or evaluate diagrams, elevations, and / or site configurations
• Actively participate in implementing and monitoring continuous improvement initiatives to improve project quality
• Support multiple projects when needed and help ensure timely completion of assignments

Qualifications :

• 1 - 3 years of experience in the Civil Engineering industry, Land Development and / or Public Works preferred
• Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
• CAD Technical Certificate or CAD AS Degree desired, but not necessary
