Job descriptionUtilize load and stop-order loading cards, temperature consideration, and weight distribution. Case pick and palletize orders, sort, tag, and temperature check freight. Use bulkheads and load locks when loading & unloading less than truckload (LTL) temp-controlled local, long-haul delivery, and shuttle route trailers. Receive temp-controlled freight from company trailers and outside carriers and handle over, short, and damaged freight. Perform warehouse forklift equipment maintenance and tasks. Operate hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trailers and within the storage facility. Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. Knowledge of bill of ladings and other shipping documents and work with limited assistance / supervision. Strong accuracy and attention to detail. Reliability, commitment, and a strong sense of urgency. Previous forklift experience and become newly recertified.
