Job descriptionGreet and assist customers with their automotive service needs and inquiries. Coordinate vehicle drop-off and pick-up with customers, ensuring clear communication. Provide accurate cost estimates for service and repair work. Maintain detailed records of services, repairs, and customer interactions. Communicate effectively with technicians to ensure timely completion of services. Inform customers about necessary maintenance and vehicle care tips. Schedule appointments and manage the service calendar to optimize workflow. Handle customer complaints and concerns, ensuring satisfaction and resolution. Promote and upsell additional services and products when appropriate. Verify warranty and service contract coverage for customer vehicles. Process payments and handle financial transactions accurately. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and service protocols. Stay updated on automotive service trends, recalls, and technical bulletins. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized service area and waiting room. Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in automotive services preferred Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar customer service role Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to explain complex automotive terms to customers in a clear and understandable manner Proficiency with automotive service management software and computer systems Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Customer-oriented approach with a focus on delivering high-quality service Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if required
