Vice President – Insurance Programs
Location : Remote (U.S. based, excluding CA & NY)
Compensation : $170,000 to $300,000 + Bonus + Equity Eligibility

Key Responsibilities
Build the Blueprint : Design and develop the infrastructure for a fully operational Programs Division, including fronting carrier and reinsurance partnerships, compliance protocols, and underwriting framework
Launch Proprietary Programs : Develop and negotiate exclusive programs across P&C lines such as workers’ compensation, auto, general liability, and property
Lead and Scale : Start hands-on—then recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing underwriting and operations team
Strategic Risk Appetite : Define underwriting strategy and help identify new program verticals, with an emphasis on transportation programs
P&L Ownership : Drive profitability and long-term performance by delivering innovative, scalable, and sustainable insurance solutions
What You’ll Bring
10+ years of commercial P&C insurance experience, including roles within MGA / MGU leadership, program development, or captive operations
Proven P&L ownership and performance track record at a carrier, MGA, or program administrator
Strong relationships with fronting carriers, reinsurers, and other strategic stakeholders
Experience launching and scaling insurance programs across multiple commercial lines
Deep knowledge of transportation, work comp, GL, and property insurance
Entrepreneurial mindset and the vision to build from scratch in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Compensation, Benefits & Perks
Base Salary : $170,000 to $300,000, depending on experience
Bonus Structure : Performance-based
