We are looking for a full-time Crisis Support Specialist to join our Chicago, IL NYAP team! This role will be for ourCenter for Family Engagement and Well-Being program.
We are seeking one Crisis Support Specialist for Wednesday thru Sunday5p thru 1am. Days off will be off Monday and Tuesday.
The on-call schedule includes both phone and / or in-person support on Monday and Tuesday evenings / overnights from 5 p.m. to 9 a.m., split between the two Clinical Supervisors. It would either involve taking the full 5 p.m.-9 a.m. shift on Monday or Tuesday, or splitting both days from 5 p.m.-1 a.m. The person in this role needs to be flexible to support the team. There will be additional pay for on call hours.
Position Summary
The Crisis Support Specialist works to make a meaningful difference in the lives of families served by the National Youth Advocate Program. This position is responsible for taking after hours calls from the answering service to provide support, answer questions, address comments and / or concerns and respond with the appropriate actions
