CPA / Business Management firm in West LA seeking Tax Preparer. We are looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join CPA / Business Manager firm in Los Angeles, California. This role involves assisting clients with their tax filings to ensure compliance and maximize their returns. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation and excellent communication skills to effectively guide clients through the process.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and submit accurate tax filings for clients, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Conduct detailed interviews with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation.
• Analyze income and expense data to determine applicable deductions and credits.
• Utilize tax software such as Lacerte and CCH ProSystem to process and manage filings efficiently.
• Review and audit financial records to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
• Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations to provide informed guidance.
• Act as a liaison between clients and tax authorities, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
• Offer advice on tax-saving strategies and financial planning to optimize client outcomes.
• Manage multiple client accounts while adhering to deadlines and maintaining a high level of service.
• Provide support during audits and other compliance-related processes.
