Job Description :
- The Quality Inspector is responsible for testing and inspecting a variety of products in different phases of the manufacturing process to ensure its conformance to customer specifications and meeting the highest quality standards.
- Must have electrical assembly experience.
Key Responsibilities :
Quality Inspection Duties :
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products.Perform electrical and mechanical testing to verify compliance with specifications.Interpret drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to guide inspection processes.Generate and maintain accurate quality records, such as test reports and certificates of compliance.Monitor gauge calibration records and ensure all tools are up to date.Conduct failure analysis for returned materials (RMA parts).Assist in internal audits for ISO / IRIS QMS compliance.Document and report nonconformances (NCRs) in receiving, in-process, and final inspection.Support continuous improvement initiatives, including 6S and process verification activities.Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve product or compliance issues.Electrical Technician Duties :
Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment.Read and interpret electrical blueprints and diagrams to determine proper installation procedures.Test electrical systems and components for functionality, safety, and compliance.Troubleshoot electrical problems, identify root causes, and perform corrective actions.Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.Replace or repair faulty components such as switches, outlets, and circuit breakers.Ensure all electrical work meets applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements.Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records.Provide technical support to peers, contractors, and apprentices when needed.Respond to emergency service calls and assist in estimating materials and labor for projects.Skills & Qualifications :
Electrical assembly or technician experience required.Ability to interpret engineering and electrical drawings.Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to learn ERP systems.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Comfortable using hand and power tools safely.Good mathematical aptitude; able to read tape measures and work with fractions / metric units.Knowledge of 5S and continuous improvement practices.Team-oriented, reliable, and self-motivated with strong communication skills.Able to lift up to 50 lbs and adapt to changing priorities or overtime needs.Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
