Overview
We're seeking a highly organized, proactive, contract Operations Assistant to support a fast-paced creative business. This part-time contractor role is ideal for someone who can confidently manage logistics, communications, and basic content support with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an operations calendar, including scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, tracking campaign deadlines, and ensuring there are no conflicts.
- Coordinate with other contractors to ensure timely completion of deliverables; organize production shoots, including crew communications, venue logistics (parking, food, schedules, etc.).
- Manage payouts, bill payments, refunds, and service fees; collect and organize necessary documentation for the accountant.
- Assist with content creation for social media (filming / photographing as needed), and prepare / post Instagram story sets and feed posts.
- Support long-form video production by helping with basic filming tasks (camera operation, footage ingestion).
- Handle errands, research tasks, and general logistics as needed.
- Manage communications via a business phone (provided), including emails and social media DMs.
Requirements
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.Excellent communication and time-management skills.Comfortable with basic filming, social media posting, and file management.Trustworthy and able to handle sensitive information with discretion.Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting a creator, influencer, or small business owner.Familiarity with Instagram, YouTube, and content production workflows.Basic knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) and simple accounting (e.g., collecting invoices, receipts).
