Job descriptionKey Responsibilities : Provide nursing care to residents under the supervision of the Director of Nursing. Administer medications and injections as prescribed, ensuring proper dosages and adherence to protocols. Monitor and document patients' vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration. Assist in patient assessments and contribute to care plans based on individual resident needs. Provide emotional support and education to residents and their families regarding health management and treatments. Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming when needed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records and documentation. Collaborate with healthcare team members to promote coordinated resident care and improve outcomes. Adhere to safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff. Participate in staff meetings, required training sessions, and continuing education to enhance nursing skills and knowledge. Qualifications : Valid LPN license in Florida. Current CPR certification Previous experience in a healthcare setting of at least two years in Skilled Nursing or Assisted Living Communities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate and resident-centered approach to care. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and basic computer skills. Physical Requirements : Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
