Primary Purpose :
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Information Technology (IT) Project Manager to lead, manage, and deliver IT projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in project management, specifically leading and working IT projects, with a strong background in IT within the education sector. Additionally, candidates with PMP (Project Management Professional) certification are preferred.

Education / Certification :
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field preferredPMO Certification (e.g., PMP, Agile, PRINCE2) is preferred.Special Knowledge / Skills :
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software, and systems commonly used in educational settings.Proven experience in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results.Preferred Special Knowledge / Skills :
Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).Knowledge of educational software platforms and systems (LMS, SIS, etc.).Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and infrastructure in the education space.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Experience :

Project Management :
Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, successful delivery, and handoff of inter-department IT projects across various teams.Develop detailed project plans, ensuring resource allocation, timelines, and budgets are adhered to.Coordinate with cross-functional teams / stakeholders to ensure all project deliverables meet the defined scope, quality standards, and deadlines.Identify project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and ensuring resolutions in a timely manner.Oversee and manage multiple IT projects concurrently, ensuring all projects are on track, aligned with organizational goals, and delivered within scope.Stakeholder Management :
Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including leadership, staff, and external partners.Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical teams.Collaborate with department heads and senior management to align IT project goals with the organization's overall strategy.Budget and Resource Management :
Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.Ensure project teams have the necessary resources and support for successful project delivery.IT and Education Sector Knowledge :
Leverage a deep understanding of IT systems, platforms, and tools to deliver tech-based solutions that align with educational needs.Stay informed about the latest trends in educational technology and recommend improvements to enhance IT services for the education sector.Process Improvement :
Identify areas for continuous improvement in project management processes and recommend changes for greater efficiency.Contribute to the development and maintenance of best practices for IT project management within the PMO.Supervisory Responsibilities :
Leads and manages project teams, but no direct reports.
