Maintenance Supervisor (Night Shift)

The Maintenance Supervisor reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and will work closely with site management and lead mechanics to set priorities and develop and adjust needed weekly, monthly, and annual plans for scheduled mobile equipment and plant maintenance.

Pay Range : $75,000 - $110,000 / per annum

Hours : 5pm-5am

Schedule : 4 on 3 off, must be willing to work Sundays

Location : Fresno, Ca

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Work with employees, clients and potential customers of Lyons Magnus in a positive and constructive manner to maintain a professional relationship.

Demonstrates courtesy, discretion, friendliness and diplomacy.

• Works within a team environment to share information and help others as needed.
• Provide implementation of general maintenance work orders in support of production.
• Provide weekly preventative maintenance to maintenance program.
• Support all aspects of fabrication projects.
• Provide efficient repair solutions in support of production in a consistent manner.
• Follow through on all direct orders from the engineering staff.
• Maintain documentation of all maintenance purchase and work orders, and processing equipment including but not limited to aseptic systems, processors, fillers, seamers, case packers, conveyors, box formers, etc.
• Oversee assigned crew members to ensure maintenance of each function of production are always in operational order.
• Oversee the Computerized Maintenance Management System to ensure optimal use of the existing system.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to perform at a journeyman level and work in all areas of the plant independently
• Maintain work orders and preventive maintenance documentation.
• Working knowledge of GMPs within a food manufacturing facility.
• Excellent knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, compressors, motors, controllers, pumps, conveyors, and high-speed bottling and packaging equipment.
• Ability to quickly and efficiently troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, PLC logic diagrams, and blueprints, a plus.

Education and / or Experience

• High School Diploma or minimum 7 years' experience within a related field
• Proven understanding of a maintenance and engineering workflow at a food manufacturing plant
• Experience in strategic planning and internal customer support
• Lean concept understanding : 5-WHY, 5s, etc.
• Experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Project, Word, and PowerPoint), Microsoft Dynamics
