General Manager of Service Operations
Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager of Service Operations to drive the success of our service, aftermarket, and parts departments. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire service operation, lead diverse teams, and develop strategies that maximize efficiency, profitability, and client retention.
Responsibilities :
- Provide inspirational leadership to service, aftermarket, and parts teams, establishing clear goals and ensuring alignment with company values.
- Drive financial performance by meeting or exceeding revenue targets for service and parts, controlling costs, and optimizing labor utilization.
- Cultivate a high-performance culture through ongoing coaching, training, and development initiatives, ensuring compliance and technical excellence.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with key customers, addressing technical, operational, and commercial issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure operational needs are met, product quality is maintained, and strategic relationships are cultivated.
- Develop and implement efficient processes to enhance operational productivity, quality, and safety, demonstrating a commitment to excellence.
- Monitor departmental KPIs, evaluate results monthly, and recommend improvements to increase yield and service quality.
- Ensure safety standards are upheld across all operations, fostering a safe work environment.
- Manage staffing levels and schedules to balance customer satisfaction with operational efficiency.
Requirements :
Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.Minimum of 10 years of field service and maintenance experience with fuel-fired boiler and burner equipment.At least 3 years of supervisory or departmental management experience in a related industry.Strong leadership skills, capable of motivating teams and driving results.Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.Proven track record of managing budgets, financial targets, and operational KPIs.Self-motivated with a proactive attitude, demonstrating professionalism and integrity.Demonstrated ability to foster a positive work environment and develop team talent.Willingness to travel as needed.Pandologic.
