Material Handler
The Material Handler will complete job activities with limited difficulty involving the receipt, inspection, storage, packaging, shipping, and certification of commercial airline engine parts and components. In this role you will work in an air-conditioned warehouse and follow processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage issues within functional area of expertise, be involved in operational projects, and contribute to the overall business strategy.

Skills : Microsoft Office proficiency, Detail and process-oriented mindset Work Environment : This position works within an environmentally controlled warehouse. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks, box cutters, and tape dispensers. Physical Requirements : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and / or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and / or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Travel : No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma, or GED, At least 3 years of aviation, logistics or relevant experience Preferred Education and Experience : Aircraft component knowledge, Forklift operation Additional Eligibility Requirements : Excellent oral and written communication skills, Ability to thrive in a cross functional team environment. Excellent interpersonal skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, Detail and process-oriented mindset Supervisory Responsibility : This position has no supervisory responsibilities
