What You'll Do
Lead a team of application developers, architect and optimize enterprise solutions using C# / .NET, MS SQL, and Microsoft Azure. Implement Agile methodologies, mentor developers, partner with stakeholders, and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. Manage troubleshooting, system stability, and staff growth through coaching and continuous learning.
Duties Include
- Build, lead and manage one of four application development teams, ensuring high-quality enterprise solutions.
- Architect and optimize applications using C# / .NET, MS SQL, and Microsoft Azure, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
- Implement Agile methodologies to foster collaboration, accelerate feature delivery, and maintain high development standards.
- Mentor and develop team members, encouraging technical growth through code reviews and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Partner with stakeholders, including project managers, business teams, and IT leadership, to drive successful project execution.
- Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, aligning development strategies with organizational goals.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts, resolving complex technical issues and ensuring system stability in production environments.
- Empower and support staff by fostering growth through coaching, skill development, continuous learning opportunities, and meaningful career advancement initiatives.
Schedule
8-hour shift, Monday through Friday, 7 am–6 pm (subject to consultation). Required to work outside normal hours for emergencies and service outages.
Travel
No regular travel expected.
Minimum Class Qualifications
Candidate must satisfy the most advanced of the following options :
Option 1
Undergraduate core coursework in computer science or equivalent major with courses in advanced programming language, logic-based mathematics, database concepts, computer systems analysis & design, and basic data processing.Additional 6 ½ years (78 months) exp. commensurate with job duties.18 months exp. in performing project management functions.Option 2
8 ½ years (102 months) exp. commensurate with job duties.18 months exp. in performing project management functions.Option 3
12 months exp. as Information Technology Supervisor 3 (64119) or equivalent.Option 4
Undergraduate core coursework in computer science or equivalent major with advanced programming language, logic-based mathematics, database concepts, computer systems analysis & design, and basic data processing.3 years exp. in utilizing word processing software.3 years exp. in utilizing internet browser(s) for research.54 months exp. with knowledge of IT architecture components, developing IT strategic plans, preparing & making presentations / public speaking, writing IT policy & procedures, preparing & monitoring budget, providing cost & resources estimates, and contract management.2 years exp. in utilizing e-mail system.18 months exp. in project management or lead role on IT project.12 months exp. in utilizing spreadsheet software.12 months exp. as IT Supervisor 3 (64119) or equivalent.Tips for Your Application
