Job description

JOB TITILE : Tax Director

Location : Los Angeles, California, United States

Mode : Hybrid - 2-3 Days Per Week In the Office

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reviews complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns (High Net Worth Individuals).
  • Performs review of individual tax returns prepared by Tax Managers
  • Serves as a technical resource for Tax Managers

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7 to 12 years' experience in public accounting, demonstrating a progression in knowledge and depth of understanding with the complexities of tax issues
  • Bachelor or master's degree in accounting (or taxation) from an accredited college or university
  • CPA license Required
  • Proficiency with tax software programs and tax research products
  • High level of proficiency in Adobe products and Microsoft Office, Access, Word and PowerPoint

    Base Salary - USD $160,000 to $230,000

    Ideal Candidate

    They must have their CPA and have been a Senior Manager or Director working at another public accounting firm. The candidate must have between 7 - 12 years' of experience working within public accounting and cannot be more than two years removed from working at a public accounting firm.

    Compensation : $160,000.00 - $230,000.00 per year
